Chili Cheese Bacon Dip

Here is the one most of you have been waiting for!  The "Famous" Chili Cheese Bacon Dip recipe that I used to make for my business.  This is EVERYONE'S favorite, right next to the Onion Dip.  Enjoy!

Here's what you need:

2 Tbl dried minced onions
1-1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 rounded tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbl. bacon bits
1/2 tsp. cumin
1-1/4 tsp. cheddar cheese powder (I buy this in the bulk foods isle)
1 cup mayonnaise (Best Foods or Hellmann's; NO sandwich spreads allowed)
1 cup sour cream (regular or light is fine.  I always use Daisy light sour cream)

Measure out all the spices into a bowl.  Mix well and set aside.

Measure mayonnaise and sour cream into a medium bowl and add the spice mixture.  Stir until well combined.

Chill at least two hours before serving.  Serve with chips or veggies!

This recipe makes two cups of dip.  I usually make the spice mix and use only 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup sour cream with half the spice mix and save the other half for another time.

Enjoy!
