Sweetheart Whoopie Pies
I have an extra special reason to love Valentine's Day. It's the day I married my hubby! Royce and I were married on Valentine's Day in 1990 and will be celebrating 23 years together this February. Boy has the time flown by!
I have always loved Valentine's Day because of all the cute decorations, baked goods, and of course everything is always in my signature colors ~ RED and PINK!

Tasty Creations Bi-Weekly Link Party No. 1
Happy Friday!
Can I get a happy dance here?
Can I get a happy dance here?
How's everybody doin'?
I've been doing lots of thinking.
Thinking about my link party and how I've had a heck of a time getting it posted lately.
Sooooo, I've made an executive decision and I'm changing it to a bi-weekly party.

Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Lil' Smokies
Are you hosting a Superbowl Party this year.......Do you like lots of appetizers on your table.......I sure do.
I have always liked a huge (and I really mean huge, just ask my family) assortment of goodies to serve at a party.
I mean really, who wants to go to a party and have only three things to choose from? Not me. And I certainly don't want to serve my guests just three things either.

Cheesy Bacon Pinwheels & SRS
I have signed up for a really fun new Swap. Surprise Recipe Swap is hosted by Jutta over at Hungry Little Girl blog. Jutta and I are friends on Facebook and have also been following each other's blogs for a while now so when she asked me if I wanted to participate in a monthly "Surprise" recipe swap I said "sign me up!"
This month I was assigned Hun, What's For Dinner? which is written by Cindy, a SAHM of two beautiful children and has a husband who is a Chef. She loves to cook and bake and reviews cookbooks and products geared towards cooking.
I have been following Cindy on Facebook for a while now so I was very excited to get her blog as my secret swap this month. I even printed out three different recipes because everything looks so delicious on her blog.
I chose her Bacon Cheddar Pinwheels recipe (which I adapted slightly) because we will likely be having a Superbowl party at our house this year and I wanted some new appetizers to serve. This was right up my alley because it was super easy, fast to prepare, and has all the right ingredients ~ bacon, cheese, bread (crescents) and dip!

2013 Memory Jar
I don't much believe in yearly resolutions because most people don't keep them for more than a month. They are usually about money, weight loss, exercise, etc.

Doing something good for me with Boar's Head Lower Sodium Deli Meats
With all the New Year's resolutions going around I decided to do something really practical for me and my family this year.
Why not change the things I can and not worry about the things I can't change.
I've decided to start small and try to actually stick to the change I'm making for the family by reducing our sodium intake.

Creative Thursday Link Party No. 41
Good afternoon blogging friends!
How is your week going?
I've been trying to write up some new posts and get a little caught up this week because I'm still finding recipes and pictures from stuff I made back in December! So don't be surprised when you see a post for something yummy and it has a Christmas Background, lol.
I try not to make New Years resolutions but this year I sure would like to become more ORGANIZED!
I've even tried to make a few Valentine's recipes so I'm ahead of the game this year.
Why can't I be like Target and have my beach wear and snacks out in December?
Maybe cause that's just not right! NOBODY wants to see swimsuits in the same month they ate made all those cookies, right?
So here's to staying a little organized this month year!

Michelle's Pulled Pork Sliders
Have you tried pulled pork yet? I've made several versions of pulled pork but this one was by far my very favorite.
Now some of you will think it's too sweet and some of you will think it's not spicy enough but I have other recipes for those flavors. With this one I was going for a true Sweet Pulled Pork flavor.

Loaded Skillet Potato Bites
Do you love potatoes like we do? I mean, could you eat them morning, noon, night, as a snack, for dessert, at 2 am while you're letting the dog out? Cause that's how much we love potatoes around here (except for that man I'm married to. Don't know what happened to him in the potato loving department).

Welcome to Creative Thursday Link Party No. 40
Whatcha been working on?
I've been thinking Super Bowl and wanting to try new appetizers and desserts.
I've also been thinking Valentine's Day (My Anniversary)
and pinning like crazy!
Have you ever taken the time to see where all your blog traffic comes from? I've been doing a lot of studying of my traffic and most of it comes from Pinterest, Facebook, and Google.
What kind of Social Media do you prefer?
I spend most of my time building my Facebook page and Pinterest boards, as you can see by my lack of being on time with this link party lately! Lol
Whose ready to PAR-TAY?
Here are last weeks most viewed posts and my favorites.

A year at a glance - The best of 2012
Like many other bloggers I thought I would post the best of 2012 in a year at a glance.
As the time goes by we sometimes forget what we've posted and as new followers join in the fun they don't always take the time to go back and look up the recipes.
So here is the most viewed recipes of this past year AND my favorites from last year as well :)
Enjoy!

Creative Thursday Link Part No. 39
Welcome to Creative Thursday Link Party No. 39
I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season and that your New Year is off to a great start!
I am looking forward to the changing of the holidays and seasons even more this year; mainly due to blogging, and hopefully I'll be a little more organized. I'd love to be one of those bloggers who is a whole season or holiday ahead, but if you know me by now, I'm more of a "Last Minute Lucy" than an "Organized Olive"!
As my New Years resolution (and I NEVER make them) I will try my hardest to bring you even more delicious recipes and even throw in a few crafts now and again! How about that? I'm in!
Last week we didn't have a very large turn out and I'm hoping it's because of the holidays we just had and not because you just don't want to link up anymore. Let's try to make this week the best we've ever had. I know we all benefit from link parties and it would be a great treat if everyone visited a few of the links and left comments :)
Now on to the party!
Owl Bread from Something Sweet - Winnie's Blog I can't wait to try this in my homemade bread

Crocketed Hot Pad tutorial from Purposely Frugal I can't wait to try this!

Breakfast Egg Sandwich
Oops! I am re-posting this because I accidentally deleted it as I was posting a new picture. So here is an excellent choice for breakfast and is part of the "What we eat for breakfast around here" series.
My 16 year old can easily devour two of these breakfast sandwiches in one sitting!

Let's ALL have a Fabulous 2013!
Happy New Year ~ 2013
As we ring in the new year I would like to say how thankful I am to have you all in my life.
I truly have a whole new world of friends near and far that wouldn't be possible with this blog. You have blessed me with your friendships and I feel like I've know some of you forever and look forward to making new friends in the year to come.
I can't wait to start a new year of sharing our lives, ideas, creativeness, stories, and love of life.
Wishing you all a very Blessed New Year :)
xoxoxo, Michelle
