Michelle's Grill Rub

Are you in the market for a super tasty universal rub you can use on any type of meat from grilling to baking to pan cooking?

Well then look no farther because I have the recipe for you.  I found this recipe in a cookbook by Ray Lampe (Dr. BBQ) and adapted it to fit my taste and never looked back.  I have been using this recipe for several years now and it goes on everything!

Here's what you need:

3/4 cup Sugar in the Raw
1/4 cup table salt
1/4 cup paprika
1 Tbs. finely ground black pepper
1 Tbs. granulated garlic
1 Tbs. onion powder
1 Tbs. ground cumin
1 Tbs. chili powder
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. ground allspice

Place all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.

The flavors will marry the longer it sits.  I usually make it a few days before I need it (unless I've run out) and I always make a double batch because we use that much.

Can be used on pork, beef, or chicken (probably fish but I don't eat it so I don't cook it)
