I think I have found my all time favorite cookie!

I am a little behind the times and hadn't really ever tried Reese's Pieces candy until the other day and boy oh boy where they yummy!

So, me being the baker that I am decided to put them in a cookie!

And the result was aaaaaamazing!

Give these a try and I'm sure you'll have a new favorite too.

Here's what you need:

1/2 cup butter, unsalted, at room temperature
1/2 cup butter flavored crisco
1/3 cup peanut butter, I prefer Jif for baking
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 Tbs. vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour, I use all purpose unbleached
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup Reese's Pieces candy

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place the oven rack in the second from the top slot.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer or large bowl cream the butter and Crisco until smooth.
Add the peanut butter and mix until creamy and smooth.

Add the sugars and mix until incorporated, scraping down the sides as you go.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated.
Add the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix until just combined, scraping the sides as you go.
Add the chocolate chips and Reese's pieces and mix until just combined.

Using a large scoop place the dough balls about 2 inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes total.  I bake for 10 minutes then turn the pan 180 degrees and bake an additional 5 minutes for soft fluffy cookies.  Let cool on pan 2 - 3 minutes then remove to rack or paper towels.

These are the most delicious cookies ever!  Make a batch today and you'll thank me tomorrow :)

Enjoy!
