Chicken Parmesan

I love two kinds of food the most.....

Mexican and Italian

My kiddos also both love Mexican and Italian.

My hubby?  Not so much.   He's more of a Steak and Potatoes guy minus the potatoes, lol.

But the whole family loves Chicken Parmesan.

I hadn't made this in forever until I had a hankering for it last week.  So I decided to try my old recipe and it was just as delicious as I remembered.

Now I know most of us are all about trying to make as much from scratch as possible in today's world of quick and easy everything, but I do believe in a few prepared foods and they include... cake mix (which I preach about almost weekly, lol) bread crumbs or Panko from a box and spaghetti or pasta sauce, because you can add all kinds of goodies to it and make it your own.

Cookies & Cream Cupcakes with Oreo Buttercream

Here's more from the Cupcakepalooza file!

I made these on a whim last week because we all have a great love for Oreo's around here.

I can't believe all the awesome flavors that are popping around in my head all the time now that I've started making more cupcakes!

Why oh why wasn't I making all these fun cupcakes while my kiddos were little?

Oh well, they still love cupcakes and I still love making them so I guess it's still a win-win.

These came about because of all the Oreo's my kids and their friends go through each week.

Banana Nut Donuts with Cream Cheese Frosting

Do I really need to say anything other than Banana Nut Donuts with Cream Cheese Glaze?!

I mean really, who doesn't love a good banana flavored baked good?

I get so tired of all the banana bread when the bananas are over ripe that I decided to try making them into baked donuts instead.

And beings as they are SO good for you, being baked and all, I thought why not add a dollop of cream cheese glaze right on the top!

Oh my goodness!  These are amazing and you NEED them in your life!

So cheers to creative reasoning, now go make some donuts, your family is waiting!

This month I was assigned Heather from My Sweet Mission blog.  I was excited to check out this blog I hadn't visited before.  Heather has an amazing assortment of recipes to chose from.  I actually printed out several of her recipes to try including Patriotic {no roll} Sugar CookiesCrusty Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes, and Warm Waffle Brownies, and finally settled on her Chocolate Pistachio Swirl Cake for this swap.

Coconut Cupcakes

Here is another delicious installment of the Cupcakepalooza cupcakes that will be making an appearance in the next few weeks.

My BFF had a birthday a few weeks back (shhh, don't tell) and she loves coconut so I decided to make her some coconut cupcakes.

I love coconut too so it wasn't exactly a hardship making these delicious cupcakes :)

Banana Cream Pie

We love all things banana around here, especially Banana Cream Pie!

Pie is such an easy dessert to make but always seems to take a back seat to cake or cupcakes.

I actually like pie more than cake or cupcakes so don't ask me why I don't make it more often, lol.

This is a super simple recipe that ANYONE can make and everyone will be impressed :)

Graduation Cap Cupcakes

I probably should have gotten this out last week but I was in Disneyland!

Some of you still have graduation parties to celebrate and might need a really cute idea for the dessert.

I made these cuties a few weeks ago for my daughters boyfriend who graduated this year from high school.

These are super simple to make and just take a little planning to get them ready.

I actually made them just a few hours before the party.
